hat is Encryption Key in BlackBerry.Encryption key in BlackBerry is need when you using BlackBerry Enterprise Server to have first connection between BES and handheld for data transferring. But if we need new encryption key it can be regenerated.

The key can be generated with the BlackBerry handheld, desktop manager and BlackBerry Enterprise Server. The function is for security key transactional data between BES and Device Handheld.

The key is important to keep connection data between BES and Device Handheld, the key will be save on database BES, if name of database is change then need to regenerated key.

eptember 11, 2009. 3 days in a week visit oil company at medan merdeka road. When come to there, some services of BES is cannot up with error “Error 1053: The service did not respond to the starts or control request in a timely fashion”. I try to solve with clear application log in event viewer and upgrade Microsoft framework.net.1.1 and the services was up except controller services. And then to solve cannot up controller services was with reinstall the services, after that restart. was solve

In the server room with very cold, the network was down, I wait almost 4 hour just read my BlackBerry and play games the sims 3 ( download from http://www.handmark.com/downloads/117680/9000/sims3.jad ). You must try it.

The network support try to change the ip with outbond 3101 bidirectional tcp/ip on firewall company. Until know the problem is solve but I think the network is not stable and it will effect to BES again.

ood Leader Characteristic ( Influence ). Many way to explanation what is good leader, in this article will discuss about influence. Influence capability is the most important thing about a leader, more you have influence capability, more you have people to follow you.

Example, in the middle of decision making meeting, the person who have confession from rest attendant is a great leader come late. He is sit in near of access door, one of attendant say “ because you are leader, please sit in front of us. “ The person who have confession say “ wherever i am sit, i still the leader “.

The leader is not about position but influence, they need support from “grassroot”. More the leader can influence people, more support will give to the leader. “Grassroot” is sensitive with decision what leader makes. When leader make decision must thinking some aspect, there are :

areto Principle. This is about priority what we do, frequently people need more 24 hours to fill for “to do list“. The problem is we do not know how make priority, the pareto principle is 20/80 principle, which mean is if we effective time our 20 percent top priority “to do list” it will effect 80 percent result what we need.

Example pareto principle is 20 person in one company can make decision and the effect is 80 percent company production. In real life, example we have 10 “to do list” with 10 target productivity, with pareto principle we must make 10 “to do list” with priority, 2 of top priority “to do list” is must be effect of 8 target productivity.

This is how we make the priority, if we do the list, what will effect to our target planning and if we not do the list, what wil effect to our target planning. From that we will know and can put our 20 percent top “to do list”.

Good management priority it will makes different between the leader and follower.

Henry Ford, person who is create and design Model T for car and number one person in General Motors company. In 1912, one of General Motors staff make change on Model T design because he thing General Motors need do a change to make sure always on top position in market. On that year, Model T on top of popularity, Henry Ford the creator is love the Model T and do not want any change. But the market tell different, Model T have losing ground. ow to Synchronize Address Book from Other Device to BlackBerry Device. This is one of frequently ask question about using BlackBerry device. I will try to step by step to do it, example if we want to move from Nokia device to BlackBerry device.

Pre system need :

1. PC suite for Nokia.
2. Desktop Manager for BlackBerry.
3. Mail client like outlook, note etc for bridge between two devices.

The Steps :

A.
1. Run PC Suite.

2. Plug cable between Nokia and PC.

3. Click Synchronize.

4. Choose setting or option on bottom side > next.

5. Choose the mail client do you have > next.

6. Tick Contact > next.

7. Choose the profile. Just the default choosing > next.

8. Finish.

9. Run mail client.

10. Do the Synchronize.

Now you contact on Nokia have on Address Book mail client. For this case, I am using Microsoft outlook.

B.
1. Run Desktop Manager.

2. Plug cable between Device BlackBerry and PC.

3. Choose Synchronize.

4. Choose tab Configuration > Configure Synchronize.

5. Tick Address Book > Ok.

6. Synchronize Now.

uly 9, 2009. What a case, need visit more than 3 times, actually at least 5 times to solve the human problem I think. This is customer in chase plaza building, they want to using BES with Lotus Domino mail server but with trial first. The problem first can see is, the domino infrastructure is not complete, they still use exchange to send email.

Installation is completed, we test on 2 users, but on address book, service wireless synchronize is not available. The first we try is try to route the names.nsf, but still not solve. So with IBM team try to solve this, the key is Roaming setting must enable on Lotus Domino.

The next problem is when we do enterprise activation, the population email is not working well, if in mail box have 10 mail, in BlackBerry device is 8, conclusion is not same between mailbox and device. And this is just in 1 ( that ) user. Because of this we takes more time to solve, I suggest to solve first on domino, but customer site is BES problem and do not know how, after many times try re-activate the problem is solve.

From the first time, I have feeling that this process will have problem cannot send email because the hotfix mail server revoke permission inherit and that is true.

I read on www.blackberry.com/support and search error “ desktop unable to submit message “. One by one, every user on BlackBerry Manager, need to set send permission that revoke and for user with protected group must using command prompt with application dclas.exe.

une 4, 2009. I was meeting on kemayoran on 4 a clock, request suddenly from sales team to explain the technical issue. So I was hurry prepare and went to that company, when arrived the meeting was start.

The technical issue they want to know is services on BlackBerry Enterprise Server, I was explain that have 8 services and there are :

1. BlackBerry Dispatcher Service.

These perform as communication between all BES component services.

2. BlackBerry Controller Service.

These perform to monitor all BES component services to restart if any of the services is stop.

3. BlackBerry Synchronization Service.

These perform to wireless data sync ( address book, task and memo list ).

4. BlackBerry Policy Service.

These perform for responsible to push IT policy from BlackBerry Enterprise Server to device BlackBerry also generates and regenerates encryption keys.

5. BlackBerry Collaboration Service.

These perform to support instant messaging corporate mail server.

6. BlackBerry Messaging Agent Service.

These perform as gateway for BlackBerry Synchronization Service ( organizer data, wireless calendar and generate original encryption key ).

7. BlackBerry Attachment Service.

These perform as responsible attachment file.

8. BlackBerry Router Service.

These perform for to route data from BlackBerry Enterprise Server to Device BlackBerry.

9. BlackBerry MDS Connection Service.

These perform for connection intranet from device BlackBerry.

Rudi : Building which we take have already destroyed, what we have to do ?

This is atmosphere of making decision at the time of condition which logically must do but difficult to change because must go out from the habits which during the long time have been doing.

Realize or not, want to or not want to, change is always happen and again and again in this world. There are a few people who want to change but because excessive afraid of something make the peoples just stay in their life.

When someone have found the happiness moment, sometime it is make us trap with the happiness, when change happened and this matter not we want or not of what we desire it can make we cannot accept that must follow the change. There are a few people which constant slowly follow the change which is being happen but there are also a few people which do not want to change because still assure that this change will return again to circumstance of early.

Ownself can become barrier process required to change, better to feel safety and sit and hope that the change is not happened than always to make a movement to look for a new hope and enlarge the possibility of reaching for something good.

If we have ready and always want to make a move with the chance of get better thing, we will consciousness of small change had been show up in our life now to show for us to ready if next a big change will happen.

At the time that the small change is happened, make it fast to do adaptiont, more quickly we make a move and more quickly we get a new result. Enjoy of all changes in which we have do and the all important note is always ready for a change again.

At the time we want to change but often become problem is we do not know where to start. We not need to afraid of this condition because better is we step and know the result, whether that wrong or is right than we never known what in fact we can do.

une 3, 2009. Visit corporate bank customer in Bintaro, is so erly morning from office at 7 am. I came with my VP ( Vice President ) and then meet with another team from sales. The problem with this customer is simple, they want to know is in one domain can install two BES server with different provider.

The answer is yes it can.

After meeting, I lunch in Pondok Indah, Japanese restaurant. We share about what they feel before and after married, and what we say is erosion of love. It is funny hear they conversation, the point is try to found the right person before you marry.

une 2, 2009. I was supported community sales to help presentation BlackBerry Enterprise Server for IT hardware corporate. 3 from sales and 1 from technical, so we are 4 person came to corporate in abdul muis street and meet with director IT and the team.

We start presentation about BlackBerry technology and the basic features, when we presentation email route BES technology, that are question.

1. How BES server connect to Lotus Domino ?
2. What size BlackBerry device get the email because compress technology ?
3. When device use for browsing to intranet access, how it is work ?
4. Which route apn if using third party application ?

So this question definitely for me,

1. Is using additional server which install to BES server.
2. For first come it must 2 kb and then the rest is if we need.
3. Device will connect to BES server, because IP of BES server in same domain with mail server will connect to intranet server which user need to open in browser. This is one of reason BES must put on DMZ.
4. I just answer base on my article : Application on BlackBerry device

and then they will studying first, the condition are using VMware and all client Note is using outlook to push to they harddisk.

here is a human was being experience of failure 2000 times before finding himself succeed in his experiment. At that time the reporter ask him about the process, he answer is “ I have never failed even once, I have created bulb. It just only need process until 2000 attempt “. He is Thomas Edison, because his result to try 2000 times attempt, we can feel the benefit.

“ You must dare to fail for reach result “, this sentence will often we get at the time feel of dilemma for made decision which require with a few a consideration. We will consider between risk and advantage, it will worth it or not. But frequently the risk will become our first priority. Is not wrong if risk is become our priority for make decision, but also is not wrong if advantage become our priority.

Two sides between risk and advantage is effect from action and decision what we take. During the life, we often to makes a decision and all of that decision have risk and advantage which we consider it or not. But the fact it is not the problem but it is about size measure from risk and advantage which we can accept.

How many times in life, we got into of failure process ? From failure which we got, which one the most remembered ? Then how our condition now ?. Maybe that all question can review our past decision and action which we have to made and also its effect in present moment. I am assure all that process, there are advantage which can be taken although there are under the expectation and or more than the expectation.

Failure can we consider to be mistaken but not the result, take advantage from mistaken which we have done and we can mention this is a learn from mistake. Therefore we can say that failure is highly cost, because there are a lot we can learn. All the things that surely have for the first time, even we assume that is will make mistake but the result that mistake can become key to success. We have never know it will fail or succeed before we start it, maybe possibly at the time we plan, we avoid action which we assume will make us fail but the result is different. The only one our biggest mistake in this life is if we fear to making a mistake.

Track Record in our life is better succeed with a few failure of than succeeding without failing, because of this that show we have bounce to struggle and never give up. We can terminate our effort with surrender and that can we say is fail people.

Comfort will be factor that can make us cannot branch out what we have and try to look for better. Fear to go out from this comfort zone can shut our maximum ability. We never known what we have before trying new activation.

Life is to choose and always to choose.

ay 25, 2009. As trainer, I was visit to corporate oil company in Monas area. This corporate is using BIS ( BlackBerry Internet Service ). In nine floor I meet with woman for give me direction to training room, maybe not training room but meeting room to use BlackBerry Training.

The audience are 18 person. I with my friend actually my supervisor give the basic of using the device. Many of them is older than us, so we try so slowly to share this technology. After at least 15 minute we start the training, they start to ask and then after that the class is more discussion than methodology of training BIS. Is more fun I thing, we talk and laugh about how using this technology.

It takes almost 2 hour for this class. One of audience have problem with the account email corporate, it can send email but cannot receive, I try to solve the problem and discuss with they IT team about this technology. And the cause of his problem is the email come to personal folder not mailbox, this common problem of BlackBerry. Now the problem is solve.

ay 20, 2009. The second day we come to corporate for BlackBerry server troubleshooting in kuningan area. The problem because server BES is down, they IT team inform us that server was have corrupt file. This information they have from result try to troubleshoot by themselves.

When first we came, I suggest to build new server for new installation BES software. So they IT prepare for installation to fulfill the checklist have gave to them.

I try to make sure the pre – installation checklist BES server is done. After that, installation is start to process. In middle the process we must stop for several minute because we need license for BES server, because the old server had format so IT team must search in they document. For information they using VMware for they network. It take several minute and then we continue installation.

Process installation is finnish, next step is test the device to activate one user. But the problem is they have not device for test, all user in BES server is high level, because of this we must wait they IT ask one of the users to borrow the device. Next step we backup device that we successful borrow from user and then wipe handheld then restore the file and the last activation user from Desktop Manager. Everything is work.

a. Delete Cache and Cookies in Browser
1. On menu, Click Browser application.
2. Click menu key
2. Select Options > Cache Operations
3. Select Clear History or Pushed Content or Cookie Cache.

b. Delete unused Languages
1. On menu, Click Options > Advanced Options > Applications
2. Choose the unused languages
3. Press the menu key and select Delete
4. Remove battery for 30 seconds

c. Remove call logs
1. On menu, Click the Messages application and press the menu key

sing Time Effectively. “Time is like a sword, if we are not using well, it will wound us”; This Arabic’s poem is more emphasize to the useful of the time more than only for the money or materiality. In 1 (one) day is consist of 24 (twenty four) hours, and usually we are set 8 (eight) hours for sleeping or resting, 8 (eight) hours for working and 8 (eight) hours for playing. Balance is important, but it will depend on how we are using the time effectively.

There are some wise ways to using the time effectively, I will try to explain and hopefully it will help our life to be more effective. The principle is in this article is having the ineffective time, try to multiply it with the days in a month and after that with the days in a year.

1.Waiting is the most boring thing and one of the most potential thing to waste our time, because we will waste our time between 10 (ten) minutes until 1 (one) hour, every time we do this waiting activity. We are usually have a meeting with someone, and when we have to be waiting we can bring the books or do any positive and potential thing as the strategy for making our waiting activity more effective.

2.Priority the activity. This activity is including the work or tasks that we need to do in the work activity and the personal activity. Make the list from the urgent priority until the less priority. This priority will depend on the period of time to finalize the activity. Put the priority list in the place that we are easily to see, and don’t forget to always give check list every time you finalize the activity because it can stimulate our spirit to finalize the next activity. And it is important to focus with the work that we do, because there is some activity like read a book, actually we just need 30 (thirty) minutes to finalize it, but if we are not focus, we will waste time twice to finalize the book. The key word is refreshing.

3.Discipline. This is important thing to make time more effective. Every concept that we try to implement, without discipline, it couldn't reach maximum potential.

4.Shopping list. It can make we not waste our time Can you imagine if in every months 3 times you will go to the same supermarket for buying your need. Actually we can make strategy with making note every time we remember the thing that we need, so that we just need one time for going to the supermarket to fulfill all the need. Beside that we can separate between our important need with the daily need.

5.Decide our vision. We can choose to be a busy person to fill our empty time or to be a busy person to do every activities to reach our dream. With vision, we know what we need, and this can make every activity that we do get closer to our dream.

6.Refreshing. Rest, refresh our mind with do the activity that we like, example sport. It can help us to increase stamina to do all the activities. Stress can make negative impact for us to do activity with maximal, and the worst is we can not continue our next activity. We can do refreshing once every 3 (three) hours with 15 (fifteen) minutes or once a week to go to the garden, to enjoy the fresh air in the morning..

7.Inspiration. It can help us to develop every plan for implement ourr dream. The things that we can do are, read a biography of a successful person, watch the patriotic movie or motivation movie.

Hopefully this 7 (seven) points can help our live more meaningful. I believe that every person has the strategy that can be developed in their life for having the better life.

3. Install device to the desktop. Open > Run > do installation progress.

1. RIM application : all of this using unlimited apn. Example : BlackBerry Messanger.

2. Second party application : Application have permission from RIM to use unlimited APN. Example : Yahoo messanger, google talk, etc.

3. Third party application : Application using apn provider.

Note :

1. Some application like opera, Gmail Application as i know this is third party application, but can use on unlimited apn.

1. You can click the first email then hold down the shift button and scroll down with the Trackball, stop until email you want delete. Then press del or backspace.

2. If you want delete all email from one of your sender email, put the cursor to email sender you want delete then press option > search sender > with the way number 1 you can delete email or you can try to top date > menu > delete prior.

our Position as Supervisor. Supervisor is just the step for you become the great leader, this is same with any position of leader but the difference is a number person that you lead. Maybe as supervisor, you lead 4 until 8 peoples. The Function of supervisor is for the connection between staff (low grade) with management and you will be the person in charge if your manager obstructive.

In supervisor position, you must develop communication skill because your job is more on human relation. You must try to develope your conceptual skill too, you will join the team who will make policy or important decision for your company.

Your job as the conceptual making, covering : controlling, coordination, planning and delegation.

As controller, you will be the person who control all job of your staff, you will need some data to do evaluation process for making a good team performance. Be aware of that data, cause the decision to make some job planning will be on the data.

As coordinator, you become the person lead the team to do some job.
Human relation skill need to develope cause you need to motivate your staff and do the negotiation with other department or division for make easy activity job. This will be the frequently job will you do.

On technical skill, you will be claim as analysis technical, this need from your experience on operational technical.

As supervisor, your main job are to make success team job with your staff as the operational job, to delegate and sharing your knowledge and skill to your staff and develop yourself to more skillful.

Leadership Function.

There are some kind of communication, as supervisor you need to train interpersonal communication and group communication skill. In interpersonal communication, you can applying approach personal, this is will help you when your team have some conflict, I think this skill will big effect to solve problem. Because of that as leader you must be wisdom to choose some word, as leader, action more effective than words.

As leader, you must be the one to lead the way of your team. This need for bring team to move and fight together for same vision.

Supervisor must have :

Perjalanan Soekarno berlanjut di Azerbaidjan, di atas kapal penjelajah “ Michael Kutuzov “ disambut oleh Laksamana Muda Tjursin dan Kapten Golota, komandan kapal tersebut. Presiden Soekarno menjelaskan bahwa Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan, sehingga dibutuhkan armada kapal laut yang memadai, beliau senang berada di kapal perang tersebut. Tak lama kemudian mendekati Sotji dan diberikan perintah untuk mengibarkan bendera Republik Indonesia.

Di Stalingrad, Presiden Soekarno melakukan lawatannya melihat kota penuh sejarah dalam perjuangan. Di puncak mamaev Kurgan dimana telah terjadi pertempuran sengit melawan fasis selama perang membela tanah airnya.

Para tamu Indonesia berlayar di terusan pelayaran Wolga – Don, naik kapal yang diberi nama Lenin. Pada saat makan siang, ketua panitia pekerja memberikan barang – barang tanda mata kepada para tamu. Ada satu tanda mata ialah sebuah kota kecil berkaca bertulisan : “Kepada rakyat Indonesia dari penduduk Stalingrad. Tanah keramat disirami oleh dara para prajurit Sovjet yang membela Stalingrad. Diambil di Mamaev Kurgan, tempat pertempuran sengit tahun 1942 – 1943.”

Perpisahan Presiden Soekarno diadakan di Kremlin oleh K.J. Worosjilov, kepala negara Sovjet. Begitulah kira – kira rangkuman dari buku perjalanan Presiden Soekarno. Semoga rangkuman ini kurang lebih dapat menambah wawasan atau mengenal mantan Presiden pertama Republik Indonesia.

oekarno, Perjalanan Bung Karno ke Uni Soviet sesi 2, Pada tanggal 29 Agustus Presiden Soekarno mengunjungi K.J. Worosjilov, Ketua Presedium Sovjet tertinggi URSS. Dan juga pada tanggal yang sama lawatan Presiden Soekarno diterima oleh Ketua Dewan Menteri URSS. N.A. Bulganin, resepsi ini dihadiri oleh Menteri Luar Negeri URSS. D.T. Sjepilov dan Duta besar luar biasa dan berkuasa penuh di URSS di Indonesia, D.A. Zjukov.

Selama kunjungannya di Moskow, Bung Karno mengunjungi pabrik pesawat terbang untuk penumpang, penyambutan yang luar biasa terjadi pula di pabrik ini.

Di Leningrad, artikel – artikel, feature – feature dan tulisan – tulisan lain tentang Indonesia mendapat tempat yang penting dalam pers Leningrad. Presiden Soekarno disambut dengan mengisi balai – balai musium dengan seribu macam barang untuk dipamerkan. Barang – barang tersebut memberikan gambaran perjalanan bangsa Indonesia dari jaman purbakala hingga saat itu.

Ketika kereta Presiden Soekarno dari Moskow sudah hampir tiba, jalan – jalan disekitarkan penuh sesak oleh ribuan rakyat Leningrad. Disambut dengan bendera Indonesia, URSS dan RFSFR. ” Selamat datang, tamu – tamu tercinta dari Indonesia”, begitulah sambutan yang diberikan dengan bahasa Indonesia dan Rusia, banyak pula yang membawa gambar Dr. Soekarno.

Di Leningrad, Presiden Soekarno melanjutkan lawatannya ke pabrik mesin – mesin. Banyak buruh – buruh pekerja tetap tinggal didalam pabrik walaupun dalam jam istirahat mereka untuk menyambut kedatangan tamu jauh mereka dari Indonesia. Di dalam pabrik tersebut diadakan rapat umum yang dibuka oleh Tichomirov sebagai ketua komite serikat buruh pabrik. Terdapat Dimitriev, seorang tukang gambar yang cakap dan terkenal sebagai seorang tukang penemu – penemu baru, dia mengatasnamakan para insinyur, ahli – ahli teknik dari pabrik itu menyambut tamu agung dari Indonesia.

Pada saat Presiden Soekarno hendak tampil ingin berbicara di podium, terdengarlah gemuruh sambutan yang diberikan. Presiden Soekarno berkata : ” Saudara – saudara menyebut saya sebagai Paduka tuan, akan tetapi oleh karena hati saya meluap – meluap dengan rasa cinta dan terima kasih saya minta saudara – saudara untuk tidak menyebut saya demikian, sebutlah saya Bung Karno.” Disambut oleh tepuk tangan yang gemuruh. Dilanjutkan ” Di negara saya sendiri saya disebut Bung Karno, dan saya menyebut orang – orang sebangsa saya ”saudara”. Perkenankanlah saya menyebut saudara demikian pula. Saya merasa gembira untuk berada di sini di tengah – tengah saudara. Tidak saja karena persesuaian jiwa kita, akan tetapi juga karena saya adalah seorang insyinyur, seorang ahli teknik, dan oleh karenanya saya menginsyafi arti yang besar dari teknik untuk membangunkan masyarakat yang baru yang damai dan makmur”.

Pada kenyataannya, revolusi politik di Indonesia masih belum selesai, walaupun masih ada wilayah Indonesia yaitu Irian Barat yang belum bebas dari jajahan, Indonesia sedang bekerja untuk mencapai masyarakat bahagia dan makmur. Melalui perjuangan dan persatuan, Indonesia akan membebaskan seluruh wilayahnya dari jajahannya. Dalam pidatonya Presiden Soekarno berkata “ Di Indonesia, pejoang – pejoang, orang – orang revolusioner, kawan – kawan saling memberi salam dengan kata – kata “Merdeka!”, Merdeka adalah cita – cita kami dan cita – cita saudara. Dan saya minta kepada saudara – saudara untu bersama – sama dengan saya memekikkan “Merdeka” lima kali”.

Ketika Presiden Soekarno menyelesaikan pidatonya, ketua komite buruh memberikan tanda mata berupa sebuah model dari nikkel yang mengkilap diambil dari rotor turbin air Kuibysjev. Sealam kunjungannya di Leningrad, rombongan Presiden Soekarno telah meinjau Petrodworets, sebuah istana besar peninggalan arsitektur Rusia abad ke 18. Tempat ini telah menjadi objek tamasya, tiap harinya datang beratus – ratus pengunjung.

Di Swerdlovsk, radio – radio setempat memberitahu bahwa para duta dari Indonesia akan hadir. Hari Minggu di siang hari, jalan – jalan menuju lapangan terbang sesak dengan manusia, ribuan orang berdiri menyambut tamu dari Indonesia dengan bendera – bendera Republik Indonesia, Sovjet Uni dan Federal Rusia.

Kunjungan singkat ini, dalam perpisahannya yang didatangi oleh ribuan orang beliau berkata “ Kami hendak meninggalkan kota saudara, dengan diperkaya oleh pengalaman dan pengetahuan. Pengalaman dan pengetahuan ini letaknya tidak saja pada apa yang telah kami lihat disini tentang pekerjaan saudara untuk membangunkan negara. Disini kami tak akan melupakannya”. Sebagai penutup “ Berbahagialah saudara – saudara. Kita jauh dimata, tapi dekat di hati.”

Di Tasjkent, merupakan tempat kedudukan Dewan Agama Islam untuk Asia Tengah dan Kazachstan yang diketuai oleh Mufti Isjan Babachan ibn Abdulmadjitchan. Terdapat 16 buah masjid besar dan 25 buah masjid lokal, pada hari pertamanya di sini, Presiden Soekarno menjalankan sembahyang di masjid pusat Sjeich – Tillja.

Sebuah rapat raksasa dilakukan di kota Tasjkent yang merupakan ibukota dari Uzbekistan, lebih dari 75000 orang datang ke stadion “Pachtakor”. Dalam pidatonya beliau berkata “Kami di Indonesia mempunyai orang – orang yang menganut kepercayaan yang sangat berbeda – beda, kami mempunyai orang – orang Islam, orang – orang Kristen, penganut agama Budha, akan tetapi rakyat Indonesia merasa bahwa mereka itu merupakan bangsa yang bersatu dan rakyat Indonesia saling memberi salam dengan kata – kata : Merdeka!”

“Saya berterimakasih pada saudara – saudara, atas segala bunga – bunga yang telah diberikan kepada delegasi atas bunga mawar yang banyak sekali. Bunga – bunga ini merupakan pernyataan dari persahabatan saudara bagi rakyat Indonesia. Saya berterima kasih atas mata saudara bersinar – Indonesia. Saya berterimakasih pada saudara atas semangat persahabatan yang hidup didalam siapa saja yang hadir disini.”

“Saudara – saudara, Tasjkent banyak sekali persamaannya dengan kota – kota di Indonesia. Iklimnya sama dengan di Indonesia, langitnya sama jernihnya sebagai dinegeri kami sendiri, panasnya sama dan pohon – pohonnya sama. Gedung – gedung di Tasjkent juga mengingatkan pada gedung – gedung di banyak kota di Indonesia. Akan tetapi apa yang paling penting, rakyat Indonesia memiliki persamaan denga rakyat saudara. Dan oleh karena itu, meskipun Tasjkent terpisah dengan rakyat saudara. Dan oleh karena itu, meskipun Tasjkent terpisah sejauh beribu – ribu mil dari negeri kami, meskipun dipisahkan dari negara kami oleh lautan – lautan yang tak terhingga, dataran – dataran yang tak kenal batas dan gunung – gunung, kami semua merasa seperti dirumah sendiri disini, ditengah – tengah keluarga kami sendiri seolah – olah.”

“Saudara, saudara – saudara disini telah menyambut kami dengan pernyataan – pernyataan cinta dan pekikan – pekikan yang keras, apakah saya bertanya, yang menjadi pendorongnya ? Apakah karena kedatangan ke negeri saudara seorang yang namanya Soekarno ? Jawab saya adalah bukan, bukan karena datangnya disni seorang yang namanya Soekarno atau Bung Karno, sebagai yang saudara katakan kaka Karno. Kegembiraan saudara bukan karena kedatangan saya. Kegembiraan, kecintaan dan persahabatan saudara menyatakan perasaan saudara untuk rakyat Indonesia seluruhnya dan tidak untuk salah satu individu.”

”Untuk itu semua saya mengucapkan terimakasih secara tulus ikhlas. Akan tetapi seandainya saya ditanya setelah berfikir sebentar apakah salam ini benar – benar ditujukan kepada rakyat Indonesia, saya akan menjawab bahwa salam saudara disini tidak ditujukan pada rakyat Indonesia, akan tetapi pada suatu cita – cita tentang persamaan dan perdamaian.”

”Di Indonesia, pemuda merupakan harapan bangsa kami. Hal itu demikian pula dengan pemuda saudara, dengan pemuda Sovjet Uni. Itulah sebabnya mengapa saja hari ini telah berkata dalam Lembaga Paeagogi bahwa pemuda semua negara harus berjoang bersama – sama untuk ide ko – eksistensi secara perdamaian antara semua negara, untuk perdamaian diseluruh dunia.”

”Saya datang kemari sebagai seorang wakil dari rakyat Indonesia, dan sebagai wakil dari rakyat Indonesia saja berseru kepada semua bangsa di Utara dan di Selatan, di Barat dan Timur. Saya berserukepada semua bangsa, tak pandang warna kulitnya, putih atau hitam, kuning atu coklat, marilah kita semua bekerjasama, saudara – saudara, marilah kita semua bekerja bersama untuk perdamaian. Saya berseru kepada banga – bangsa seluruh dunia untuk bekerja bersama dan berjoang bersama untuk perdamaian yang kekal.”

”Oleh karena saya menjadi merasa sangat gembira bahwa saling hormat – menghormati dan persahabatan hidup antara rakyat – rakyat kita, antara rakyat Indonesia dan rakyat Sovjet Uni. Saya meminta pada saudara semua untuk didalam hati berkata : Hidup persahabatan antara rakyat semua negara. Hidup saling hormat – menghormati antara semua bangsa! Hidup untuk dunia baru!” Di akhir pidatonya, Presiden Soekarno meyakinkan bahwa persahabatan Indonesia dan Sovjet Uni akan hidup selama – lamanya.

Sebuah moment yang tidak kalah penting adalah pada saat kunjungannya di Tasjkent, sebuah keluarga merayakan kelahiran bayi wanita, dan meminta nama untuk bayinya tersebut ke Bung Karno. Bung Karno memberikan nama bayi tersebut ”Julduz” yang berarti bintang.

I've written before about how I strongly believe that in life you should have no regrets. Quite simply you cannot change what has gone before so why waste time regretting what you cannot alter? But that's not to say that you should ignore the things you have done in the past that went wrong or those occasions when you made mistakes. Instead you should always be prepared to learn from them and so take something positive from all of your experiences.

So I'm going to ask you to look back, just for a moment. Bring to mind something from your past where things went wrong or you believe you made a mistake or failed to achieve what you wanted to do. It may even be that something continues to play on your mind and so possibly prevents you from doing today the things that you really desire. You may have to go back to your childhood or it could just as easily be something that happened in the last week that it is still really bugging you.

Whatever it is be open and honest with yourself and then follow these 10 simple steps:

Step 1

Write down exactly what happened with as much detail as you can. Be precise and try not to let any feelings you have about the incident cause you to edit or leave out important facts.

Step 2

Define what part you had in the incident. What actions did you take, were they deliberate acts, or were they things you were persuaded or even forced to do by someone else?

Step 3

Define who else was involved and what they actually did. It's important to be completely honest and, for instance, identify whether someone may have prevented you from doing something or perhaps tried to stop you from taking a particular course of action.

Step 4

Ask yourself truthfully what you could have done differently that would have resulted in a better outcome. Be thorough because it may only be a little thing but it could make all the difference in the future.

Step 5

Identify what anyone else involved could have done differently and what you could have done to help them to do so. Be prepared to admit where you were at fault including by maybe just standing by and letting something happen.

Step 6

Define what the best outcome would have been for everyone concerned.

Step 7

Having followed the steps so far, now write a plan for how you would achieve the desired outcome in the event of the incident occurring today. Be clear and concise in the steps you would take and how you would interact with anyone else involved.

Step 8

Kita adalah bagian dari sejarah bangsa ini, sekiranya saya ingin membagi salah satu sejarah dari presiden pertama Indonesia ini yaitu pada saat lawatannya ke uni soviet . Penulisan ini dikutip dari sebuah buku dengan penerbit MULTATULI, diliat dari sepatah katanya ditulis Nopember 1978.

Perjalanan ini dimulai dari tanggal 28 Agustus 1956 sampai pada tanggal 12 september 1956, Bung Karno hadir di sana diundang oleh presidium Soviet tertinggi Uni Republik – Republik Soviet Sosialis. Ditemani oleh Ruslan Abdulgani ( Menteri Luar Negeri ), Zainul Arifin ( Wakil Ketua I Parlemen ), Arudji Kartawina ( Wakil Ketua II Parlemen ). Ada juga beberapa anggota parlemen yang ikut serta pada lawatan itu seperti Dr. Sukiman Wirjosandjojo, Dr. Leimena, Sutarto Hadisudibjo, selain itu juga ada pejabat – pejabat tinggi pemerintahan, perwira – perwira tinggi dari angkatan darat, laut dan udara beserta wartawan – wartawa Indonesia.

Di Uni Soviet, terjadi perundingan yang membahas masalah – masalah internasional yang sedang terjadi saat itu dan juga tentang kerjasama diantara Indonesia dan USSR.
Berikut hasil perundingan kedua belah pihak :
1. Kedua buah Negara mendasarkan hubungan – hubungan mereka antara yang satu dengan yang lain pada prinsip – prinsipnya saling menghormati keutuan wilayah dan kedaulatan, tiada campur tangan dalam urusan – urusan dalam negeri masing – masing, non – agresi, persamaan derajat dan saling menguntungkan, koeksistensi secara damai.
2. Bertalian dengan masalah – masalah internasional semacam pelucutan senjata, perjoangan melawan kolonialisme, pelarangan terhadap penggunaan serta percobaan alat – alat senjata atom dan thermonuclear dan lain – lain, URSS dan Republik Indonesia berpedoman pada semangat dan prinsip – prinsip Konperensi Bandung.

Lain dari pada itu Sovjet Uni dan Republik Indonesia telah menyatakan bahwa adanya pakt – pakt militer tidak memajukan usaha – usaha untuk mengurangi ketegangan internasional yang begitu penting untuk mencapai perdamaian dunia.

Dalam hubungan ini diberikannya tempat yang syah pada Republik Rakyat Tiongkok dalam PBB telah diakui tidak saja merupakan tindakan yang wajar tapi juga merupakan suatu sumbangan yang konstruktif untuk perdamaian dunia.

Bertalian dengan situasi yang telah timbul dewasa ini di daerah Terusan SUEZ, kedua belah fihak menyatakan bahwa masalah ini harus dipecahkan secara damai atas dasar sepenihnya menghormati kedaulatan dan harga diri Mesir.
3. Dalam perkembangan yang wajar daripada semangat persahabatan antara USSR dan Republik Indonesia telah tercapailah sebuah persetujuan tentang pembentukan kerjasama dalam lapangan perdagangan, teknik dan ekonomi, atas dasar persamaan derajat dan saling menguntungkan. Dalam hubungan ini kedua belah fihak telah menyatakan keyakinan mereka yang penuh bahwa perundingan - perundingan yang kini sedang dilangsungkan di Jakarta akan menghasilkan ditanda tanganinya sebuah teknik dan ekonomi dan terutama pemberian kredit jangka panjang dari Sovjet Uni kepada Reublik Indonesia dan pengiriman bahan – bahan mentah serta barang – barang lainnya dari Republik Indonesia ke Sovjet Uni.
4. Dalam lapangan kerjasama kebudayaan, kedua belah fihak telah sepakat untuk menjelenggarakan suatu tukar menukar delegasi – delegasi, mahasiswa – mahasiswa dan ahli – ahli kebudayaan, terutama pekerja – pekerja kesenian dan ilmu pengetahuan, dan lain – lain.
5. Kedua belah fihak merasa sepenuhnya puas dengan terwujudnya hubungan – hubungan pribadi antara ahli – ahli negara yang memegang pimpinan dari URSS dan Republik Indonesia dan telah menyatakan keyakinan mereka bahwa tukar menukar pendapat yang telah dilakukan itu akan semakin memperkokoh ikatan – ikatan persahabatan antara URSS dan Republik Indonesia yang tidak saja akan menguntungkan rakyat Sovjet Uni akan tetapi juga rakyat Republik Indonesia serta perdamaian dunia.
6. Presiden Soekarno dari Republik Indonesia telah mengundang K.J. Worosjilov, Ketua Presidium Sovjet Tertinggi URSS untuk mengunjungi Indonesia pada waktu yang dianggapnya baik. Undangan ini telah diterima dengan senang hati.

Di Moskow, perjuangan dari rakyat Indonesia untuk kebebasan dan kemerdekaan menjadi perhatian dari rakyat Uni Soviet. Pada saat mereka mengetahui bahwa Presiden Soekarno datang Moskow, ratusan ribu rakyat menyambutnya dengan “ Selamat datang saudara!”, mereka menanti memenuhi lapangan terbang pusat dengan atribut foto Bung Karno dan spanduk dengan tulisan – tulisan sambutan. Disambut pula oleh ketua Presedium Soviet tertinggi USRR, K.J Worosjilov, ketua dewan menteri URSS, N. Bulganin, Imam – Chatib dari masjid pusat Moskow, Kamareddin Salichov dan imam dari masjid tersebut, Achmitdjan Mustafin.

K.J. Worosjilov mengucapkan selamat datang “Kunjungan tuan adalah sebuah peristiwa yang penting. Ini akan membantu untuk semakin mengembangkan hubungan – hubungan persahabatan antara Republik Indonesia dan Sovjet Uni dan untuk memajukan perdamaian umum serta kerjasama secara damai antara semua Negara.”

“Sudah diketahui oleh umum bahwa rakyat negeri kami memperhatikan dengan minat yang besar dan rasa simpati yang dalam terhadap perjoangan kemerdekaan, yang gagah perwira yang dilakukan oleh rakyat Indonesia. Cita – cita yang adil yang diperjoangkan oleh Indonesia telah dapat direbut. Kami merasa gembira karena melihat bahwa Negara tuan sekarang sedang membangun dengan penuh kepercayaan perekonomian nasional yang merdeka dan Pemerintah Indonesia menjalankan politik luar negeri yang tegas yang merupakan sumbangan sangat berharga bagi cita – cita perdamaian universal.”

“Salah satu dari kenyataan – kenyataan yang mempunyai ciri istimewa dalam jaman kita yang mempunyai arti besar dalam sejarah dunia adalah peranan yang tiada bandingan besarnya yang dimainkan oleh bangsa – bangsa di Timur. Sekarang diwakili dalam hubungan – hubungan internasional sebagai bangsa – bangsa yang merdeka dan mereka ikut ambil bagian yang penting dalam memutuskan nasib dunia. Indonesia memainkan peranan yang sangat penting serta kuat untuk memperkokoh persatuan Negara – Negara Asia dan Afrika dalam perjoangan mereka untuk kemerdekaan, melawan kolonialisme dan akibat – akibatnya.”

“Sovjet Uni akan selalu ingat dan sangat menghargai jasa – jasa yang telah diberikan oleh Indonesia dan ahli – ahli negaranya yang cakap, Presiden Soekarno dan Perdana Menteri Ali Sastroamidjojo, dalam menyelenggarakan Konperensi Bandung yang bersejarah. Konperensi itu dengan tegas menyatakan kemauan dari bangsa – bangsa di Timur untuk menentukan nasib mereka sendiri tanpa campur tangan dari luar dan untuk menyusun hubungan mereka dengan bangsa – bangsa lain atas dasar lima asaz yang sekarang telah mendapat pengakuan umum yang luas.”

“Dalam politik luar negerinya, Sovjet Uni dan Indonesia mendasarkan tindakan – tindakannya pada lima azas ini dan berjoang dengan ulet untuk melaksanakannya dalam praktek demi kepentingan perdamaian diseluruh dunia dan menyokong cita – cita Indonesia untuk mewujudkan keutuhan serta kemerdekaan yang penuh bagi wilayahnya.”

“Perkenankanlah saya tuan Presiden, untuk sebagai penutup, memberi jaminan pada tuan bahwa segala – galanya akan dilakukan di Bumi Sovjet untuk membuat kunjugan tuan menjadi sukses dan untuk membuatnya dapat semakin memperkokoh persahabatan Sovjet – Indonesia lebih dari pada yang sudah – sudah untuk kebaikan rakyat kedua negara kita. Selamat datang, tamu – tamu kita yang tercinta !”

Di sambut bung Karno dengan berkata : “ Saya membawa untuk untuk Sovjet Tertinggi, untuk semua pemimpin dai rakyat Sovjet dan rakyat Sovjet seluruhnya salam dari delapan puluh juta rakyat Indonesia. Sebagai suatu bangsa, sebagai bangsa Indonesia, kami masih tetap dalam tingkatan perjoangan, dalam tingkata perjoangan dan pembangunan. Dalam perjoangan ini dan dalam pembangunan ini kami memiliki tiga tujuan pokok dihadapan kami. Yang pertama adalah untuk mencapai kemerdekaan politik yang sempurna karena sebagai tuan tahu, sebagaian dari negeri kami masih tetap berada di bawah kekuasaan asing. Tujuan kami yang kedia ialah suatu masyarakat yang didasarkan pada keadilan dan kemakmuran untuk seluruh rakyat Indonesia. Kami insyaf bahwa tercapai terkecuali jika terdapat perdamaian yang sempurna di seluruh dunia. Dan inilah yang menentukan tujuan kami yang ketiga, yaitu : untuk memberikan sumbangan kami kearah perdamaian dunia.”

“Kami tahu benar bahwa rakyat Sovjet Uni selalu berjuang untuk kemerdekaan, bahwa mereka selalu berjoang dan sedan berjoang untuk membangunkan suaru masyarakat yang didasarkan pada keadilan dan kemakmuran.”

“Rakyat Sovjet bekerja bersama dengan bangsa – bangsa lain untuk menyelamatkan perdamaian diseluruh dunia.”

“Oleh karenanya saya merasa gembira untuk menerima undangan dari Paduka Yang Mulia dan dari Pemerintah URSS untuk mngunjungi Sovjet Uni dan dengan segala senang hati menerima baik undangan ini.”

“Jika sebagai hasil dari perjalanan ini kami berhasil untuk memperkokoh persahabatan antara rakyat Sovjet Uni dan rakyat Indonesia, saya akan merasa sangat bahagia dan puas. Sebagai suatu bangsa, sebagai bangsa Indonesia, kami menjadi merdeka sebelas tahun yang lalu. Akan tetapi kami bukan bangsa yang muda. Kami adalah bangsa yang tua. Selama 350 tahun kami ditindas oleh penjajahan dan pemerasan. Kemerdekaan negeeri kami, kemerdekaan Republik Indonesia, diproklamasikan sebelas tahun yang lalu, akan tetapi hingga sekarang kami mempunyai kesempatan tidak lebih dari 5 – 6 tahun untuk mencurahkan perhatian guna mengembangkan negeri kami. Dengan sendirinya, kami masih harus berbuat banyak sekali. Dan oleh karena itu kami akan gembira untuk memelihara persahabatan dengan rakyat tuan yang besar.”

1. Check the signal strength
Checking the signal strength of your handheld will verify whether or not your handheld has a strong enough
signal to send and receive wireless information. To verify the signal strength of your handheld, complete the
following steps:
1. Turn on your handheld.
2. Click the Options icon. The Options screen appears.
3. Click Status. The Status screen appears.
4. In the Signal field, verify the value is less than 100dBm. A weak signal shows a number higher than
100dBm, such as 111dBm.
Note: For java™-enabled BlackBerry handhelds, verify GPRS, 1X or NXTL network status indicators appear in
the status section of the screen.
2. Reset your handheld
Reset your handheld by completing one of the following steps:
• Press the Alt key + the Shift key + the Backspace key simultaneously

3. Check Network Settings

Jika email anda tidak support oleh teknologi BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), ada solusi lain yaitu BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS), dengan teknologi ini email anda dapat didaftarkan untuk layanan BlackBerry, memang BIS mempunyai perbedaan dengan BES, karena BIS hanya didaftarkan di webclient. Jadi fitur – fitur yang berada diBIS lebih sedikit dari BES.

Berikut dasar – dasar dari teknologi ini dengan webclient :
1. Seluruh pengaktifkan dan pengaturan email account dilakukan melalui web.
2. Dengan BIS, email dari pelanggan akan ditarik oleh BIS untuk kemudian di push ke handset pelanggan.
3. BIS mensupport mail server selama POP3 atau imap dari email tersebut bisa diakses oleh BIS.
4. Dapat diaktifkan email account sampai 10 email.
5. Master email account yang dibentuk perama kali berfungsi sebagai account utama.
6. Master email account berfungsi sebagai perantara yang menghubungkan antara seluruh individual email account yang telah didaftarkan diwebclient.
Pengguna BIS harus memenuhi beberapa syarat, yaitu :
1. Memiliki email account.
2. Ketersediaan kebijaksanaan dari internal perusahaan ataupun mail hostingnya yang memperbolehkan akses email melalui POP3 acces berupa 110 digunakkan webclient untuk mendownload email.
Aktifitas di webclient :
1. Registrasi ( PIN dan IMEI Handset )
2. Membuat master account.
3. Personalisasi data pribadi :
a. Mengganti login password.
b. Mengganti secrer question untuk hint password.
c. Mengatur “sent from” email address.

Teknologi push mail BlackBerry ini mempunyai dua jenis layanan service yaitu : BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) dan BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES). Pelayanan ini dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pemakai dari BlackBerry dan tentunya dengan perbedaan – perbedaan fitur yang dimilikinya. Security merupakan salah satu keunggulan dari BlackBerry, menggunakan system enkripsi yaitu dengan Triple DES dan AES akan membuat hacker – hacker email lumayan jera untuk mencoba meng-hack.

Teknologi ini mempunyai persyaratan :
1. Berada dalam coverage min GPRS.
2. Handset yang support teknologi BlackBerry dan teknologi min GPRS.
3. SimCard yang sudah aktif layanan BlackBerry.
4. Teknologi email yang didukung.
5. Server BlackBerry -> khusus pengguna BES.
BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS) lebih cocok untuk pengguna individu atau kalangan bisnis – bisnis kecil menengah yang sangat membutuhkan email pribadinya untuk kepentingan bisnisnya. Teknologi ini mensupport mail server apapun selama mail server tersebut didukung oleh teknologi POP 3 atau IMAP, dengan BIS, email pelanggan akan ditarik ke server BIS yang berada di Kanada lalu di push ke handset. Berikut penjelasan sistematika kerjanya :
1. E-mail yang tersimpan pada mail server akan diretrieve oleh web client melalui koneksi internet (POP 3 atau IMAP).
2. BIS akan routing email untuk diteruskan ke wireless network.
3. Email/data akan diterima oleh handheld melalui GPRS minimal.

BlackBerry Enterprise Server (BES), berikut penjelasan sistematika kerjanya :
1. E-mail yang tersimpan pada mail server akan dibaca oleh BES. Untuk Microsoft Exchange menggunakan MAPI, sedangkan Lotus Notes menggunakan Admin.nsf (semacam additional server).
2. BES akan mengencrypt serta mengkompresi email. Email tersebut akan di-push oleh BES ke SRP melalui koneksi internet(via Port 3101). BES akan mengirimkan 2 KB dari email.
3. SRP akan mendefine nomor IMSI dari user tersebut untuk diteruskan ke wireless network provider.
4. Email/data akan diterima oleh handheld melalui GPRS/3G.

Untuk menggunakan layanan ini harus investasi server yang berdiri sendiri untuk BlackBerry, sifat dari server ini adalah terhubung dengan mail perusahaan yang berfungsi untuk push mail ke handset, diletakkan di belakang firewall perusahaan, sedangkan teknologi email yang didukung adalah Microsoft®Exchange , Lotus®Domino™ atau Novell Group Wise. Diperlukan juga ketersediaan akses Internet dan kebijakan internal perusahaan yang memperbolehkan akses email korporasi secara remote, berupa open port 3101.

Pengguna yang cocok dengan BES adalah perusahaan besar baik pemerintah maupun swasta yg memiliki server sendiri dan menggunakan email kantornya sehari-hari. Perbedaan dua layanan ini yang utama terletak pada delay time, untuk BES jauh lebih baik dari BIS. Teknologi BlackBerry inipun mempunyai teknologi kompresi data, jadi setiap email akan diterima sekitar 2kb dulu, setelah itu ada notifikasi apakah akan dibuka lebih besar lagi atau tidak.

Sejarah Perkembangan 3G

Pemilihan berkembang ke teknologi 3G atau UMTS mempunyai alasan tersendiri, ini dikarenakan GSM yang merupakan asal mulanya sebelum teknologi 3G ini, mempunyai pelanggan mobile 70 % di dunia berdasarkan pada bulan Juli 2001.

Berikut sekilas evolusinya :
1. < 1998 -> GSM, kecepatan 9,8 kbps.
2. 1998 -> HSCSD, kecepatan 9,6 – 28,8 kbps.
3. 1999 -> GPRS, kecepatan 9 – 53,6 kbps.
4. 2000 – 2001 -> EDGE, kecepatan 9 – 100 kbps.
5. >2001 -> WCDMA/UMTS, kecepatan 384 – 2084 kbps.
Transisi ini mempunyai 3 fase menurut komunitas 3G :
1. Fase 1, menambah jaringan radio packet sebagai sebuah overlay pada struktur eksisting.
2. Fase 2, mengganti BS dan BSC dengan sub network UTRA ( Universal Terrestrial Radio Access ).
3. Fase 3, memperkenal handset UMTS ( Universal Mobile Telecommunication System ).
Sebenarnya GSM – EDGE memakai teknologi TDMA ( Time Division Multiple Access ), namun pada saat merambah ke 3G dilakukan semacam revolusi ke teknologi CDMA, alasan mengapa memilih teknologi ini adalah memakai kode penebar, fungsinya adalah untuk membedakan antar user, antar BTS, dan antar kanal. Kode penebar ini yang digunakan ini lebih dari satu untuk membedakan antar user.
Hal yang unik di CDMA adalah :
1. Universal Frequency Reuse.
2. Power Control, fitur ini memungkinkan mobile dapat menyesuaikan daya pada saat transmisi, jadi jika jarak antara mobile dan BTS berubah – ubah maka dayanya dapat disesuaikan, hal ini dapat menghemat daya pada mobile device.
3. Rake Receiver, jika kita berada dalam sebuah coverage BTS, kita bisa dikenali dengan bermacam – macam jalur (path), apakah melalui pantulan tiap – tiap gedung mengakibatkan fading (naik turunnya signal terima) multipath, ini dapat diatasi dengan rake receiver.
4. Handover, proses perpindahan cell BTS jika kita dalam keadaan bergerak.

3G Overview

Artikel ini mudah – mudahan tidak usang, karena teknologi 3G ini sudah dipraktekan di Indonesia pada tahun 2006. Saya berharap dapat berguna jika sekedar untuk menambah pengetahuan saja mengenai teknologi ini.
Teknologi 3G ini mempunyai 2 konsep, yang pertama berasal dari Amerika yaitu CDMA2000 dan yang kedua WCDMA / UMTS yang berasal dari eropa. Awalnya diinginkan satu standar mengenai teknologi ini, namun sampai sekarang blm dapat disatukan untuk tertulis di konsep IMT 2000.

Generasi pertama kita sebut saja generasi analog, tetapi generasi ini sudah menggunakan teknologi handoff, ciri umum dari generasi ini adalah menggunakan modulasi analog FM dan untuk komunikasi suara. Generasi kedua sudah merambah ke fitur seperti sms dan data namun masih dalam kecepatan yang lemah. Pada generasi terdapat killer application yaitu sms. Sebenarnya generasi kedua ini ada 2 jenis yaitu 2G dan 2,5G yang dianggap jembatan menuju generasi 3G.

Apa itu 3G ?, banyak definisi yang dituliskan di artikel – artikel, namun saya mencoba menjelaskan bahwa teknologi ini merupakan teknologi yang menambah kecepatan akses datanya dalam kerjanya. Bisa digambarkan seperti ini, jika dalam keadaan diam ( sedang dirumah atau dikantor ), mendapatkan kecepatan 2 Mbps, jika dalam berjalan kaki ( <10 km/jam ), mendapatkan kecepatan 384 Kbps, dan jika dalam keadaan bergerak dengan cepat (100 km/jam ), mendapatkan kecepatan 144 Kbps. Kelebihan dari teknologi in juga bersifat mobile.

Teknologi 3G ini seperti menggabungkan Internet, Telepon dan media seperti TV. Oleh karena itu fitur – fiturnya pun akan mengikuti perkembagan teknologi ini. Teknologi ini juga memberikan manfaat ke beberapa bidang, seperti bidang komunikasi ( video telephony, video conference ), di bidang pendidikan ( virtual schools ) dan lain – lain.

Creating Your Vision

I feel that one of the most important ingredients in your formula for success is having a clearly defined and vivid vision of where you want to be. At first the “how” is not that important, you need to create a vision that gets you so excited that you develop the mentality that you will stop at nothing to get what you want. Many people first focus on the how than very quickly find themselves overwhelmed with too many details and just as quickly talk them selves out of pursuing their goals. You have to take a leap of faith and trust that the how will be shown to you as you go along. Do you remember the days as a kid with dreams of epic proportions? What happened those dreams? You got older and domesticated by a society that says that having those dreams is foolish. That’s nonsense, why wouldn’t you want to accomplish the things that even as a kid you knew would make you happy. I encourage you to dream like you once used to.

One way I keep myself motivated and keep my vision alive is through my picture book. In my book I have everything that I want and every morning I look at it to remind me what I want in life. Go right now and get some magazines and cut out every picture of the things you want and places you want to visit, don’t be thinking if you can actually get those things now, dare to dream. Remember your mind thinks in pictures, look at your picture book until in becomes as vivid as possible in the theater of your mind. Your mind cant tell the difference between something you remember or something you experience in real time.

Visualization Exercises(meditation):

(Please read this whole section, I will explain why almost all self help fails to produce the results people want)

You can think of meditation as conscious sleeping. Just as you sleep to gain energy for your daily functioning, meditation is conscious sleeping that gives you all the energy(creative abilities) you need for what you intend to accomplish.

I also use lucid dreaming as another way to increase creativity, I will soon write a hub on lucid dreaming.(Lucid dreaming is when you actually become aware in your dream that you are dreaming, once properly trained you can control your dreams)

Use the power of meditation to help you achieve your goals. Strive to everyday meditate one minute for each year of your current age. I am 24, so everyday I try and meditate at least 24 minutes. If you are new to meditation check out this website on transcendental meditation .There are many techniques find something that feels good to you.

Quantum Mind Power

Daily Routine:

1. Pick a nice comfortable place where to meditate. Have an intention on what you plan to meditate on before hand. Ex. A destination you want to visit.

2. Find a comfortable position to sit. Sitting on a chair or on the floor, does not really matter as long as it is comfortable for you.

3. Cross your legs, clasp your hands together.(this helps make your own energy circuit and gives stability)

4.Close your eyes, than stop inner and outer chatter.

5. Relax, begin thinking that your whole body is becoming extremely relaxed.

6. Eyes should be closed.

7. You will notice that your mind is full of many thoughts. Your mind will than begin to ask questions to those thoughts and try and come up with answers whether they are known or unknown. This is why your mind(ego) can be your enemy if it mostly thinks in negative terms.

8. You will need to transcend your mind and thoughts in order to meditate. Your mind and thoughts are what separate you from your higher self, you can also think of your higher self as your subconscious mind don't worry about the labels.

9. You transcend your mind by simply observing your breath. Don't inhale/exhale consciously just observe your natural breathing. Don't go behind your thoughts, if you catch your self drifting just always come back to your breathing. Slowly the amount of thoughts reduces and your breathing becomes thinner and shorter. If you are able to keep all your focus on your breath, you will get to the point of no thought and no breath. This state of no thought is your connection to your divine being and energy body. The more you meditate the more benefits and energy that you will receive. Your own self awareness and consciousness will also expand.

10. You will feel a very pleasurable feeling meditating. If you feel any discomfort in your body these can be possible areas of disease or illness. If you meditate everyday you will heal your body naturally.

11. Now that you are in a state of no thought and total relaxation. Begin to think only on your intention. Remember whatever you think now is in a state that will be impregnated directly into your subconscious. It is incredibly important that you don't color any of your thoughts with any lack,limitation,dis belief or doubt. This is why almost all self help material does not produce the results people expect. Wishing for more money(or anything else) never works, the thought of wanting more money also has the thought of doubt attached to it. Ask your self how many thoughts that you think about have been modified in a way that is not beneficial to you. You just never realize that you are programming your sub conscious all day. This is why meditation is so powerful. You are able to make suggestions to your subconscious where the thought is not modified in any way shape or form. So if you want to make things happen fast you need to get rid of the concept of attaching time to yourthoughts. You have to remember that everything you get in your life comes based on the conditions that you set up and time is usually one condition that cuases the most frustration with people. Just as a computer programmer gives a computer instructions to complete a task, you program the most powerful computer you have which is your subconscious. Your conscious mind acts as the gate keeper as to what thoughts you let in. Now that you know this choose to become more aware and conscious about what you think all day long. Learn to see the world in a non linear way, remove time from your consiousness and watch how things show up in your life faster than you ever thought.

Thoughts = feelings = actions = results (just like that you can begin to shape your life)

12. Mentally rehearse every moment of it with all your senses. Dare to be like Peter Pan :)

13. Visualize in vivid detail, your intention as established fact. Also make sure you meditate only on days you feel good. Remember you want your thoughts to be as pure as possible. This also means that you really find out what you want, make sure its not something you want solely for ego purposes. Thoughts that involve the ego are usually always colored with negativity.

14. With time you will begin to be able to hold vivid pictures of anything(you will develop you third eye). The more you are able to hold onto an image in your mind the more power you give it.

15. Get up and go have a great day :) notice how much energy you have the rest of the day. As you advance in your discipline, you will have a lot of fun basically creating your day before it starts.

Beliefs:

To start making that vision a reality you will have to change some of your beliefs and adopt beliefs that will help you reach your goals. Because if you have this great vision of you retiring on your own private beach but deep down you don’t believe you can do it, you have already sabotaged yourself. Your desire and your belief are in conflict with each other and therefore you will not manifest what it is that you want into your life. If you want to be a good leader one day but you currently have the belief that you are a shy person, it will not happen. You need to truly make a decision to adopt the belief that you are really outgoing. When you truly decide to do something you will find a way to do it.

Some Ways to shape your beliefs:

1. Always think Success- as soon as you think about failure forget about it and don’t let anymore negative thoughts snowball. The more attention you give a thought the more powerful it will become than you will make it harder for yourself to get back to a productive mind state. The only way to change how you feel is to think about something else. Whenever you feel doubt, fear, and failure creeping into your mind have a default thought that you can use to avoid giving attention to mental poison. As soon as I feel I am entertaining thoughts of negativity I immediately begin to think about relaxing on a beach and affirm to myself that “I attract abundance to all areas of my life”. The more I try and have the feelings of being on the beach with no worries and remind myself that I am in complete control of how I feel, I immediately feel the negativity begin to melt away as I begin to focus on my new positive thought.

2. Develop the belief that you are better than you currently feel- don’t look at your weaknesses as a burden but as an opportunity to improve your self. When I find something I don’t like about my personality I don’t get down on myself for it, I just realize that now I have something I can work on to make myself better. Most importantly love and accept who you are, not who you will or should be.

3. Believe that sky’s the limit- if you have little goals you will have little success, the bigger your dreams the more potential for your possible success. Even If you think your dream is too big, strive to reach that dream, because you will end up at a better place than if you would have set your sights on a smaller goal. The trick is to really believe you can do it, this just isn’t wishful thinking. Wishful thinking never got anyone anything, you need to find out what you want and get out there and get it. If you really want that house on the beach your mind will come up with ways to help you get it.(develop faith in your self)

How to remove junk beliefs:

1. Meditate on your old belief and tell the truth about it. Now replace it with a belief that will better serve you. Meditate on it until you feel you have changed that belief.

Now when you accept these beliefs it means you will have to raise your standards and develop a strategy that will put you on the road to accomplish what you set forth. Do whatever you have to do. Read any books that will spark your interest or help you discover any distinctions that will point you in the right direction. Find a role model, a person who has already accomplished what you want. Find out what some of their beliefs, interests, body language, image, etc. is and adopt them as your own. Your role model can serve as a blue print, the goal is to cut down on the trial and error so you can get where you want faster than you ever thought possible. You can take all the qualities from all the people you admire and add your own personal touch. Just think of if it as if you are trying to build the person you want and know you can be. Thomas Edison is one of the greatest inventors in history, he was able to elaborate, modify and adapt on other peoples ideas. You don’t have torecreate the wheel just constantly be aware of any success ingredients you come across and make them part of your identity. Think of your mind as a warehouse the more you learn and store will eventually serve as an inventory for future reference, which will breed new ideas and perspectives.

Consistency is key we are all creatures of patterns and habits. In order to become the person you desire to be, start by changing your patterns. Think of all the quality traits you must possess, make a pattern which uses those traits efficiently than strive to be consistent. Consistency will develop into habits and this is key because if you fail to be consistent with your actions you will not be consistent with who you desire to be. This lack of confusion between your actions and what your mind knows you are capable of leads to tremendous amounts of stress, confusion, and even depression. Many other consequences also come from a lack of consistency.

This is why awareness of self is critical; you need to be constantly evaluating your self. Decide if the persona you are currently displaying is the reality that you want for yourself,because with enough time thats what your reality will become.

To quote Henrietta Klauser, “If you have a connection to what you want, take the next step and write it down.” If you don’t have any idea about what you want, or how you want to be in life to bring about greater happiness, begin looking through magazines and create a Vision Board/Collage of what attracts you. You may also want to consider getting an outside perspective from a friend or a professional coach. I take my clients through a guided imagery that gives them a glimpse of what their future could look like. There are also books that can help guide you. Just get help assessing your talents, divine gifts and abilities and then determine how you want to use them more fully in the world. We can’t help others as fully, if we are not aware of how we can best serve. So instead of thinking of it as selfish to engage in knowing yourself better, I would suggest you consider it selfish to hold back and not be the best you can be. Only in this way, can we help the world and others.

Create Inspiring Goals – How will you get there?

Example: My client created a tiered plan of what needed to happen step by step – outer goal. All of this was influenced by her inner goal of keeping a measured pace and a balanced life. Her goal was to enjoy the process.

You have to create a plan and take specific actions to get you from where you are now to where you want to be. When most people write goals, they just write a list of action steps, usually external actions. I believe it is more powerful to have inner and outer goals. An outer goal is what you want. For instance, you might think, “I want a new house”. An inner goal is more focused on the how. How will a new home benefit me and my family? Will it offer more common gathering areas, a larger kitchen so that we can cook together, etc.? How can I appreciate what I have now until I get this home? How can I make this a joyful experience rather than a stressful one? If you can not be grateful for what you have now, then when you get a new home, it will only create very short-term happiness for you. Then, you will be focused on the next external illusion of happiness. For 2008, I suggest taking at least three of the life areas I mentioned earlier and jot down how you couldbenefit from living your highest vision in each area. Next, add action steps toward your desired achievements along with completion dates.

Clear Obstacles – How will you remove obstacles in your way?

We all have dreams and visions for our life, but frankly, there are many things that can get in the way. The two most common obstacles I see with my clients are:

The inability to say NO— In order to bridge the gap from your current view to your highest vision, you have to make room for what “Could Be”. If your life is full and you want to add more of the things that are truly important in your life, you should start the change process by making room first. You must say no to some things in your life, so you can say yes to what is most important. You have to give up the destructive habits, behaviors and activities to make room for new ones.

A metaphor would be a water hose watering a flowering plant. The water in the hose is your life force and the flowering plant is what you are trying to grow in your life. If the water hose has leaks, it will not have enough water or life force/energy to reach its desired outcome or vision (to grow the plant into full bloom). Examples of leaks might include toxic friendships, unrealistic expectations, watching too much television, eating sugar, overspending, negative relational patterns with your spouse or working on an outdated job.

Example: A client’s obstacle here was that her 8- year-old daughter needed caring for and she was afraid she wouldn’t be able to be a good mother plus jumpstart a successful, new business. We remedied this issue by getting clear on the proper definition of a good mother. Also, practically speaking, she needed help picking up her daughter from school. So she got her husband to assist her in this area so she would have time to create this new business.

Negative self-talk—Research shows we have approximately 50,000 internal messages we say to ourselves daily. We are constantly walking around having conversations with ourselves. And it is what we say that makes all the difference in the overall quality of our lives.

Example: I was once in Starbucks, and I watched this woman spill her coffee while reaching for a sugar packet and I heard her say out loud, “I’m so stupid. I can’t believe I did that.”

Now, I just happen to hear her, but this is an example of something you might say internally as well. You might think, “No big deal. I say things like this to myself all the time.” Well, IT IS A BIG DEAL as our subconscious hears these messages and acts on them as if they were real. Don’t say anything to yourself that you wouldn’t want someone else saying to you.

Think of self-talk like mental fuel. Now, imagine filling your car with dirty water. We all know you wouldn’t get very far. Now, take that same car and fill it with high quality gasoline. You’ll most likely reach your destination. It is the same with people and the words we use. If the words are negative and toxic, we will sputter along with low energy and our performance suffers. If our words are positive and tender, we will feel confident, energized, encouraged and will most likely meet our goals faster and easier. Here are some key things to remember if you ever find yourself preparing to board the train of BAD self-talk:

B– stands for belittling self-talk. Stop telling yourself, “I am not good enough.” If your dream is to have a healthy self-confidence, which of the following examples is more likely to get your there:

A. “I’m so stupid. I can’t believe I did that.”

B. “Whoops, mistakes happen.”

Can you see how the Answer B is much kinder?

A – stands for awfulizing. Stop predicting a future filled with gloom and doom, and dwelling on scary thoughts. If you dream of obtaining a career you love, which of the following will move you closer to your vision:

A. “I did terribly on my interview, I’ll never find a job I like.”

B. “I will answer that question on past employment differently next time and I will ace it! I know I will one day have the job I love.”

Can you see how Answer B places you in the mindset of a successful job search?

D – stands for deceiving. This is when you deceive yourself into thinking you are a victim, and that other people are to blame for your circumstances. If we want a happy relationship which will of the below responses will aid in achieving this goal:

A. “If my spouse would only do more around the house, then I would be happy.”

B. “I can and will choose happiness today, no matter what my spouse does.”

Answer B is the right choice, wouldn’t you agree?

S – stands for shoulding – This is when you give yourself a lot of shoulds, musts, and ought tos, then beat yourself up for not living up to unrealistic standards. Say your dream is to be in top physical condition, which will further that:

A. “I should have eaten a salad for lunch instead of that big ol’ hamburger. I’m such a pig!”

B. “I could have eaten a salad, but I chose not to. Tomorrow I will make healthier choices.”

The second choice is so much more inspiring, don’t you think?

Commit to Action – Are you willing to do what it takes?

The final step of the 5 C Process is to commit to action. How many times have we all made plans and never carried them out, or started off excited and lost motivation? No one ever does anything great alone. We all need encouragement and support from others including an accountability partner who is willing to help hold the vision of the person you want to be. In the previous example of my client, her biggest negative self-talk was how to be a good mom and a good business woman. Her thoughts were, “If I don’t pick up my child every day from school, I am a bad mother.” Instead, we replaced it with, “Picking up my child from school daily is not what makes me a good mother. I am, indeed, a fabulous mother.”

Here are the four action steps that have been proven to help you eliminate your negative self talk:

• Become aware of your negative messages –listen to voice in head

• Stop! You have to stop immediately if you find yourself dwelling on any negative thoughts

• Replace negative thoughts with a kinder alternatives

• Practice. It takes a commitment of time in order to turn a pattern of negative thinking into a more positive train of thought.
